How we check jobs
Every job carries the date it was checked. This page explains what that covers, and what it does not.
What we check
- The employer's own posting: the role, the location policy, the salary band and the apply link.
- That the apply link still resolves, so you are not sent to an expired listing.
What we do not check
- We do not test listings, measure their performance, or use them in production.
- We do not rank by payment. A placement never changes a check date or a verdict.
- We do not state a fact we could not read at the source.
How often
Every entry is re-checked at least every 90 days.
An entry whose check date is more than 90 days old is marked stale until it is re-checked.
Who does it
Checking is done by the directory's editorial team. Vendors do not write or approve their own entries.
A vendor may send a correction with evidence; the entry is re-read at the source before its date moves.
What changed
No method changes since launch.
Report an error
